Washington/New York, 29 June: The chief prosecutor of the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague, Carla Del Ponte, said before the UN Security Council on Tuesday [29 June] that Croatia fully cooperated with the tribunal and that she expected runaway general Ante Gotovina to be arrested and transferred to The Hague as soon as possible.
Del Ponte and the president of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Theodor Meron, on Monday submitted a report on the tribunal's exit strategy to the UN Security Council.
