BAGUIO CITY-Police found two headless bodies, believed to belong to two students reported missing since June 15, in separate areas in Tuba, Benguet, and Rosario, La Union.
The body found at Barangay Taloy Sur in Tuba on June 23 was identified by relatives as that of Franklin Gac-oy, 19, a second year dentistry student at Pines City Colleges.
Police said Gac-oy's hands were dismembered while a portion of his right arm was scraped. The body was tied with aluminum wire from the neck down to its waist and legs.
According to his relatives, Gac-oy, a native of Tabuk, Kalinga, failed to return when he left home on June 15.
Last sighting
One of his cousins said he saw Gac-oy and another male companion, later identified as Martin Bulakit, at the Burnham Park skating rink at 8 p.m. on June 15.
