Another view of the Philippines and Filipinos is presented by Carlos Celdran in his multimedia exhibition, Miss Manila, at the Lumiere Gallery in Makati.

A history buff - he conducts amusing and informative guided tours of the historical areas in Manila - Mr. Celdran is also quite fond of puns and has a seemingly unquenchable sense of off-beat humor. Mr. Celdran explained that the show's name refers to "things we miss or are now missing, in Manila."

Miss Manila is also the title of one of the three works on view in this, his first exhibit in over three years.
