KUALA LUMPUR, Sun. - Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar will meet United States Secretary of State Colin Powell and British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw in "brief but important" meetings on the Palestinian- Israeli conflict soon.

Syed Hamid will be leading a delegation of five ministers from the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) countries for talks with Powell, in concluding the grouping's meetings with the Quartet on the Palestinian conflict and the road map for peace.

He leaves for Washington tomorrow.
