Author: standards The GSM Association and the TD-SCDMA Forum, organizations representing two competing 3G (third-generation) standards, said they have signed an agreement to cooperate and promote interoperability and international roaming capabilities between the two technologies. Interoperability means that consumers using two different networks can make phone calls across systems, the two groups said in a statement.
