THE Honda Malaysia Racing team have started a long awaited commitment from a large car manufacturer towards the development of Malaysian motorsports.
The racing unit of Honda Malaysia is based at its plant in Alor Gajah, Malacca and will begin its first experiment with fully-Malaysian hands in this year's Merdeka Millenium Endurance (MME) at the Sepang Circuit on Aug 30.
Made up entirely of Malaysian Honda associates, the team's main objective is to provide learning experience of the real racing environment, techniques, communications and all other aspects related to racing.
