"Nitrous oxide?" Leila ventured timidly.
"Laughing gas, madam. Some dentists use it as a recreational drug. Zed just overdid it, that's all. Yes, well, he is seeking reinstatement but the Board is ... ah well, he is a perfect gentleman, very quiet, pleasant manner, just don't lend him any money."
A week later, Leila's front door glass darkened. After all the prevarication, discussions, phoning, signing, the man from the agency was actually there.
