West Central Division.(MTNA Division News)
The official meeting at the MTNA National Conference in Kansas City included the installation of new officers: Mary Ellen Moore, NCTM, as president and Tom Ediger, NCTM, as president-elect. A sincere thank you to all division members who monitored for sessions and competitions at the conference, and especially to the state monitor chairs and Mary Davis, NCTM, for organizing all the volunteers.
As my last column, I want to introduce you to Mary Ellen, your new president of the West Central Division. If you don't know her yet, you have a wonderful friend to meet very soon! Mary Ellen grew up in a small rural community in Nebraska and was faithfully transported by her parents to piano lessons in the preparatory department of a college thirty minutes away, even in snowstorms.
