I join the members of the Southwest Division in thanking outgoing President Geri Cheney, NCTM, for her countless hours of dedication to our division. She has been an exemplary role model and will continue to strengthen the leadership as she begins her term on the Board of Directors. Joining the Southwest Division as president-elect is Lezlee Bishop, NCTM (Salt Lake City). She brings with her a wealth of leadership experience, which includes Utah MTA president and session monitor chair for the 2003 National Conference.

New to our division competition team is Jeanne Grealish, NCTM (Albuquerque), who takes over as the junior high chair, replacing Tammy Nakasato (Honolulu.)
