Michelle Gordon, NCTM, was selected by the National Piano Foundation to receive the NPF Studio Festival Award. This award recognizes excellence in the implementation of the Studio Festival Program, one of MTNA's Music For Everyone Programs.
Gordon, is a private piano instructor in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts. She has studied with Eleanor Carlson at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and Jose DaCosta of the New England Conservatory. She is the immediate past president of the Massachusetts Music Teachers Association (MMTA) and president of the MMTA Local Southeastern Chapter. She annually judges piano students in the Syllabus Exams of the MMTA.
