Section: Business News - Pressed by the global fuel price increase for some time, the government has finally decided to further raise the capped prices of gasoline by Bt0.60 (60 satang) per liter, effective today.

With the latest adjustment, the local prices of regular and premium gasoline went up to hit a record high of 17.39 baht and 18.19 baht per liter respectively.

Diesel oil prices remain unchanged.

The premium gasoline price had earlier surged to the highest level of 17.79 baht per liter before the government decided to cap the price on 8 January.
