Statesman News Service KOLKATA, April 15. - One person is suspected to have died of jaundice and 400 others have been infected with the disease in the past three days in two wards of South Dum Dum Municipality. The disease is believed to have spread from contaminated water.

South Dum Dum Municipality said the death which occurred in a private clinic is not related to the jaundice outbreak in the area. The patient was admitted to the nursing home with other ailments a week ago, a municipality official said.
