BEIJING, June 1 Asia Pulse - Six people claiming to be North Korean defectors made their way into a German government-run school in Beijing today and confronted Chinese police, one of the six people said.

They entered the school by scaling its wall at around 5:20 a.m. this morning, and were staying on the top floor of an apartment building for embassy staff, which is located within the school compound, he said.

The German school is about a five-minute drive from the South Korean Embassy and has previously been used by northern defectors to seek asylum.

The German Embassy in Beijing reportedly plans to consult with the Chinese government how to deal with them.

Among the six people including a woman was reportedly Yoon Ung-joo who along with seven other North Korean escapees, entered the school in February this year as well demanding his repatriation to ...
