THE master and two officers of a Japanese-owned reefership are being held by Spanish police, on suspicion of having thrown four Senegalese stowaways overboard in mid-Atlantic.
According to reports, the crew claims that the stowaways were forced onto a one man raft and cast adrift 1,000 km south of the Canary Islands.
