DAVAO CITY-No money for housing to speak of.
Amado Bagatsing, national housing vice chair, made this statement in reaction to accusations made by the opposition that government funds, including those for housing projects, were used for the election campaign of President Macapagal-Arroyo.
Bagatsing said the housing office is only living on a budget of P50 million a year, which is not even enough to address the country's need for five million more houses for the poor.
