Vietnam has rejected remarks by Amnesty International on human rights in Vietnam while demanding the Human Rights Watch stop its fabrications referring to the recent situation in the Central Highlands region of the country.

The country's official reaction was made by a spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, Le Dzung, in reply to a French AFP news agency correspondent's questions relating to the two organizations' recent reports on Vietnam.

Amnesty International is not objective in blaming the Vietnamese government for violating residents' freedom of speech, association and religion, Dzung said.
