Budapest, May 28, 2004 (MTI-ECONEWS) - Standard and Poor's Ratings Services said on Friday that it has affirmed its 'BBB+' long-term and 'A-2' short-term corporate credit ratings on Deutsche Telekom. At the same time, the long-term rating was removed from Creditwatch, where it had been placed on March 10, 2004. The outlook is now positive.
While the SUP announcement did not mention DT majority owned Hungarian telecom Matav, the rating agency said in April that its review, expected by the end of May, will effect the rating of Matav. SUP said at the time that the rating and outlook on Matav will continue to move in step…
