I READ in the Singapore newspapers that Singapore Telecom (SingTel) is offering high-speed broadband Internet access at 1,500 kilobits per second (kbps) at a monthly fee of S$68.25 (RM150.15) for unlimited access. This is nearly three times faster than its earlier service of 512kbps, which was sold at the same price.
Singapore's StarHub Cable Vision is offering cable-based high-speed broadband service of 1,500kbps and 3,000kbps at monthly fees of S$58.80 (RM129.36) and S$79.80 (RM175.56) for unlimited access.

Telekom Malaysia's Streamyx offering runs (to the best of my knowledge) at a maximum of 512kbps on ADSL technology (the same technology used by SingTel in Singapore), but its availability is limited in peninsular Malaysia and almost non-existent in Sabah and Sarawak.
