THE advice given in "Politicians should think twice before shooting from the hip" (NST, May 22) is timely because most of our politicians and some Ministers are exceptionally fond of seeking publicity in the Press or appearing before the TV cameras by shooting off their mouths without getting their facts correct or doing their homework.
What they often do without clear thinking will only render them into making silly comments for the sake of impressing their audience, offending other parties.
