6[currency]6Looking back: [degrees]I was in good shape for most of my life, but a few years ago I started gaining weight. It felt strange, like someone else was temporarily inhabiting my body *and not
in a good way *but I never got down on myself. Still, I remember that when I [macron]d ask friends if they thought I needed to lose weight, they [macron]d be pretty vague, like, [R]Oh, we could all drop a few pounds. [macron] Now I wonder if they were actually trying to give me a hint. [+ or -]
In the present: [degrees]I feel more like myself now *it [macron]s a relief. When I was heavier, it [macron]s like I was in denial. I felt uncomfortable, but I still saw the [R]skinny [macron] in me and knew I [macron]d get back there. [+ or -]
Future expectations: [degrees]I think my mind never got used to being in a heavy body. When I reach my goal, I [macron]m sure I [macron]ll feel as good as I do now *confident and secure *because I [macron]ll feel like my old self again. I used to be afraid that I [macron]d eventually gain the weight back. But
