Data from the 2003-2004 academic year reflect a slowed growth rate in median salaries of colleges and university administrators. This year's growth rate is 2.5%, down from 3.5% last year and 4.0% the year before.

An annual survey by CUPA-HR (College and University Professional Association for Human Resources) covers 173 jobs at 1,379 doctoral, comprehensive, baccalaureate and two-year schools.
