Cutting the grass may not be your idea of quality time. But several labor-saving features help some new walk-behind mower's get you through this weekly chore a bat more quickly and smoothly.

A major improvement is easier mulching and bagging in the high grass typical after lots of rain or a missed week of mowing. With most mowers, you have to discharge the longer clippings directly onto the lawn to avoid clumps and clogs. Several Honda models sidestep that messy scenario with an adjustable lever that lets you mulch some of the clippings and deposit them back into the lawn while routing the rest into the bag.
