Lalitpur [Katmandu Valley], 16 May: President of Nepali Congress Democratic Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed the opinion that the country must adopt constituent assembly to resolve the current crisis. While General Secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist Leninist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has urged political parties to move towards drafting a new constitution in order to include the Maoists.

Speaking during a round table meeting organized by "Civic Society for Peace and Development" on Sunday [16 May] Deuba said "If we are to bring Maoists into mainstream, then we must adopt constituent assembly." …
