The two sentences handed down by the Constitutional Court, ruling that four members of the armed forces are to be tried by ordinary justice, have unleashed an aggressive reaction by senior military officers. The soldiers are accused of causing the deaths of two people (a nurse and a mason) and wounding a doctor during the events of February 2003.
