The Masai warriors in Africa greet one another with the question, "How are the children?"

The usual answer to this question is, "All the children are well".

This is a testimony to the high premium the Masai place on children's well being. It means that these brave warriors have not forgotten their duty to the most vulnerable members of society.

But alas the Government of Uganda under the leadership of President Yoweri Museveni cannot make the same claim. There is no peace in a large part of the country and children have suffered in Uganda more than at any time.
