Martha Eva Armstrong

Martha Eva Armstrong, 91, Bradenton, died May 9, 2004.

She was born Dec. 13, 1912, in Twin Falls, Idaho and came to Bradenton in 1970 from Wellesley, Mass. She retired after 12 years as an executive secretary for the Music Department at Wellesley College. She received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Washington.

Survivors include a sister, Iris Taylor of Boise, Idaho; and her friends Mr. and Mrs. Ned Cobb of Bradenton.

Inurnment will be in Dayton, Wash. Shannon Funeral Home, Town Chapel, is in charge.

Robert Leroy Arthur

A graveside service for Robert Leroy Arthur, a Parrish resident who died May 3, 2004, will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Mansion Memorial Park, Ellenton. Shannon Funeral Home, Town Chapel, is in charge.

Raymond F. David

Raymond F. David, 80, Bradenton, died May 8, 2004.

He was born June 24, 1923, in Denver and came to Manatee County in 1994 from there. He worked in the retail profession as a manager for Woolworth and later worked for the State of Colorado. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Denver. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and the American Legion. He served three years in the Army Air Force during World War II. He was a Protestant.
