In the 1987 finals, the Flyers were losing to the Oilers three games to one after a dispiriting 4-1 loss at home in Game 4. Before Game 5 in Edmonton, Flyers coach Mike Keenan put the Cup in his team's dressing room as motivation. It worked: The Flyers won, 4-3. Keenan put the Cup in the Flyers' dressing room before Game 6 in Philly, and they won again, 3-2.
