SEOUL, May 3 Asia Pulse - South Korea's major nonlife insurers plan to raise auto insurance premiums next month in desperate efforts to boost profits, industry sources said Sunday.
The expected rate hike will come six months after the property and casualty life industry made the rate increase.
According to the sources, the country's top five nonlife insurers plan to jack up their car insurance premiums by 1.5 per cent to 2 per cent from June 1.
