SEOUL, May 3 Asia Pulse - South Korea's wage level was much higher than those of Hong Kong and Taiwan in 2003, but it lagged far behind advanced countries' pay levels, the Bank of Korea said Sunday.
Citing data by the International Labor Organization, the central bank said the country's monthly wage averaged US$1,869 last year, a 22.4-percent jump from 2000.
