LOUNOVICE POD BLANIKEM/BLANIK, Central Bohemia, May 1 (CTK) - President Vaclav Klaus celebrated the Czech Republic's EU entry at the legendary hill Blanik shortly after midnight.

When this happened, he called on Czechs to be united. Klaus warned of exaggerated expectations, which may lead to disillusions.

"I believe that we will not be lost in Europe. This cannot happen to us, as Celts. We have the Blanik Knights," Klaus said jokingly.

He accepted with laughter a replica of a Celtic shield from the local mayors.
