TWO years after the Bulgarian parliament revoked the annexing of privatisation contracts, the government restored the option - though in a limited number of cases - with amendments to the Privatisation and Post-Privatisation Control Act passed by the cabinet Thursday.

With the permission of the Post-Privatisation Control Agency (PPCA) diligent buyers will be able to reschedule their investment and employment commitments, provided the deadline is met. They will also be allowed to replace one type of investments with another, vice premier and economy minister Lidia Shuleva said.
