IT APPEARS that presidential bet Fernando Poe Jr. supports the US war against terrorism.

Despite the death of a Filipino truck driver in US-occupied Iraq, Poe was not for the pullout of the Philippine contingent there.

Asked about his position on the ongoing conflict in US-occupied Iraq, Poe told reporters yesterday that the government should maintain the Philippine contingent there.

He stressed that no additional troops should be sent by the government.
