THE SPORTS Ministry will re-evaluate the National Sports Council (NSC) Act 1971 for amendments to ensure it is in line with the Sports Development Act 1997, said its minister Datuk Azalina Othman Said yesterday.

She said the older statute did not conform with the more recent legislation and needed to be amended to ensure the NSC could draft better plans to increase the performance of sports in Malaysia.
