ABS-CBN says global operations to pull up first-quarter net income.

Media giant ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. is looking at a double-digit growth of about 10% in net income in the first quarter on stronger global operations, executives said.

Chairman Eugenio Lopez III said the firm ended the period with a growth "closer to 10%."

"The performance is within our expected growth, with the net income growing at double digit.
