Owner seeks compensation for pet A pet owner in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, asked that an autopsy be performed on her puppy because the animal died soon after receiving medical treatment, but her request for compensation and an autopsy were rejected by the hospital, China West Metropolis News reports.

The woman surnamed Xie sobbed over the death of her six-month-old Guai Guai on Monday.
