Taipei, April 28, 2004 (CENS)--Microsoft Corp., currently the world's No. 1 software developer, will hold its annual Windows Hardware Engineering Conference 2004 (WinHEC 2004) May 26-27 in Taipei. Microsoft holds the meeting only at its Seattle headquarters and Taipei every year, suggesting Taiwan's prominent status in the world IT industry has caught Microsoft's attention. Jawad Khaki, corporate vice president of Windows Networking and Communications, will attend the meeting for the first time to deliver a keynote speech. At the meeting, Microsoft is expected to unveil roadmap of its latest operating system dubbed as "Longhorn." …
