KUALA LUMPUR, April 26 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Medical Relief Society (Mercy Malaysia) has spent RM2.44 million helping Iraqis since the country was invaded by allied forces last year, its president Datuk Dr Jemilah Mahmood said.

She said so far, 12 projects had been implemented in the war-torn country, including emergency aid, repairs to several hospitals and delivering much-needed hospital supplies.
