As your article "Pawns in a Losing Game" (May 29 issue) told, most Americans are concerned about illegal immigration, yet many of our politicians continue to support it.

I regrettably voted for King George, but would absolutely never do so again; it is hard to imagine that any of his opponents would have been any more leftist or nearly as harmful to our rights, our economy, and our country. And unless the Republicans quickly and visibly distance themselves from the president's destructive, imperial, and tyrannical policies, especially those concerning immigration, "spreading democracy," globalization, and the systematic destruction of the Bill of Rights, they will absolutely lose their controlling positions in the upcoming elections.
