Simon Sharp, a 14-year-old in the town of Celebration, Florida, thought about a worthwhile activity he could perform as his Eagle Scout project. Showing appreciation to our nation's military veterans, who have given so much of themselves to our country, meant a lot to him, and so Simon decided to build a veterans memorial in Celebration, all on his own!
Like all such projects, Simon's began with fundraising. He sells patriotic pins, at five dollars each, to fund the memorial.
