The police have issued a security alert and reactivated anti-terrorism measures in the city after it re-emerged that terrorist attacks still loomed over the country.

The measures come after a call by Internal Affairs Minister Dr Ruhakana Rugunda at the weekend, following a disclosure by a US Department official that the east Africa region was the most risky area on the continent for American interests. [Passage omitted]
