PRESIDENT Mwanawasa has challenged the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) to withdraw its membership from the Oasis Forum because it has a hidden political agenda.

Mr Mwanawasa said in Livingstone on Saturday night it was clear from its objectives that LAZ was different from the Oasis Forum and was supposed to maintain very high ethical standards.

The President made the challenge when he officiated at the LAZ dinner which was preceded by the annual general meeting (AGM) at Sun Hotel.

He said it was unfortunate that LAZ was aligning itself with non-governmental organisation (NGOs) …
