Oracle joins enterprise grid alliance.

Hyderabad, April 23 - ORACLE Corporation has announced that it has joined industry leaders in founding the Enterprise Grid Alliance (EGA), a consortium created to develop enterprise grid solutions and accelerate the deployment of grid computing.
Through its involvement with the EGA, Oracle seeks to help develop inter-operable systems, lacing many pieces of the enterprise grid computing puzzle.
Enterprise grid computing is capable of delivering a number of benefits including resource sharing, incremental scaling and reduction in information technology requirements.
