PARIS, March 31, /PR Newswire-AsiaNet/ -- XandMail SA, the digital communication solution provider today announced the availability of Video Management Module, an innovative solution which allows management of MMS-contained video from browser-enabled PC, Wap or i-mode mobile phones, and PDAs.
Video Management Module is a multi-device solution to manage videos included in MMS from display to storage designed for telecommunications players (operators, xSPs, portals, mail hosters, etc.) who want to make the most of multimedia technologies and offer premium MMS capabilities to their subscribers.
Whether on a computer or web-enabled terminals, end users can now view videos sent through MMS, store and re-use them in outgoing MMS.
As a pure Java application, Video Management Module includes a video decoder for Web-playing, allowing end-users to play multimedia messages with videos on their PC without specific plug-ins or installation.
For mobile terminal display, the software extracts frames from the video, they are converted so that format and size fit the terminal specifications, and played as a slideshow.
Frame extraction being fully configurable, rendering can be made as fluid as wanted.
