TAIPEI, April 1 Asia Pulse - Foreign direct investment in Taiwan has not been affected by the current dispute over the March 20 presidential election, a government official said Tuesday.
Chu Ta-wen, director-general of the Industrial Development and Investment Center under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, acknowledged that the mass protest staged last Saturday by the opposition camp has stirred up grave concern among foreign investors with operations in Taiwan.
