SEOUL, March 29 Asia Pulse - South Korea's first bullet train service, set to start operating on April 1, will revolutionize the country's logistics system and help raise its competitiveness with advanced train-manufacturing technology, the head of the Korean National Railroad (KNR) said in an interview recently.
"The opening of high-speed rails will trigger a great revolution (in logistics) which is incomparable to when the Gyeongbu highway opened to traffic in the 1970s," Kim Se-ho told Yonhap News Agency.
