Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, who arrived in Vientiane on the first leg of his Southeast Asian countries tour, held talks with Laotian leadership. For details, Sarwar Munir Rao:

Formal talks were held between Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali and Laotian Prime Minister Boungnang Volachit in Vientiane. The talks lasted for one and half hours, in which regional and international situation was discussed besides the promotion of bilateral relations between the two countries. The issue of enhancing trade between Pakistan and Laos was also discussed.

At the talks, Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali was assisted by Shaykh Rashid Ahmed, federal information and broadcasting minister; Chaudhry Norez Shakoor Khan, federal petroleum and natural resources minister; Federal Privatization Minister Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, and Foreign Secretary Riaz ...
