Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire (PANA) - Discussions between Ivorian Prime Minister Seydou Elimane Diarra and opposition leaders pressing for the full implementation of the Linas-Marcoussis agreement are expected to end Saturday when a final statement will be issued.

The objective of the negotiations, which started Tuesday and continued Thursday, is to defuse the stalemate created by the killing of opposition demonstrators on 25 March.

"The discussions are in progress and everything is going well. We want to get to the deep root of the issues without rushing. We will meet again 16H00 Saturday," said …
