ABS-CBN has asked the National Telecommunications Commission to penalize GMA Network for allegedly misleading the public with its "false and malicious reporting" on the issue involving comedy king Dolphy.
In a complaint to the NTC dated April 6, the Lopez-controlled network claimed that GMA violated its franchise when it reported in its news programs "24 Oras" and "Saksi" that Dolphy's "Home Along Da Airport" would be axed because the comedian was actively campaigning for presidential candidate and fellow actor Fernando Poe Jr.
