KUALA LUMPUR, Thurs. - The Organisation of the Islamic Conference's special ministerial meeting to discuss the developments in Palestine and Iraq has been brought forward to April 22 at the request of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.

Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said the special OIC meeting which was originally scheduled for May 4 was brought forward to ensure an urgent response from the organisation to the latest developments in the Palestine-Israel conflict and the violence in Iraq.
