Mumbai, Apr 15 (PTI) Indian film 'Final Solution', exploring the consequences of the communal violence in the western state of Gujarat about two years ago, has bagged the silver award in the Best Documentary category at the 28th Hong Kong International Film Festival.

Directed by Rakesh Sharma, the feature-length documentary film was selected for the humanitarian award from the eight entries received worldwide for this section.

Final Solution is the first ever Indian film to win this award. It was also picked as a critics' choice from a list of 15 must-see films among the over 300 movies from 40 countries at the festival. …
